The Bay Buzz first announced the publication in January, 2010, the result of a lot of hard work and research done soley by myself. In it's first few months, The Bay Buzz was only a newsletter that was sent out to subscribers in a pdf. format. After receiving many emails from readers and musicians of encouragment, I created the website and a Facebook page.
The Bay Buzz now has a full staff of volunteers and the support from many musicians and musical entities.

The Bay Buzz's mission is to inform and educate the people of the Tampa Bay area about the strong base of independent musicians in our area, while providing a haven for area musicians to assist with networking, promotion, and development.
It's Your Website
The Bay Buzz is desiged to support and promote local musicians. You are our first priority, not the venues. Here you can list your upcoming shows, have your new CD reviewed, place a link on our site to your website, merchandise and tell the readers and fans what you are doing in your music career. Use The Bay Buzz as a voice so you can be heard.
ADVERTISING
While our main focus is on the musicians, we need the support from the many places the musicians perform at and buy their gear from. We offer a premium service at a low cost that will allow you to advertise your establishment. For a low price you will be able to have your logo on the main pages of the website, announcments of your upcoming events and post discount/coupons for our readers to use at your establishment.
We offer this promotion to first time customers for only $50 for the first two months. Your logo and any other information you provide will be active for 60 days after your payment is received. If you are happy with this advertising outlet, we ask that you continues your partnership with us for $50 a month or $500 for a full year.
